Frequently Asked Questions!
How long have you been an artist?
I have been an artist for as long as I could hold a pencil crayon in my hand while eating a pop tart in the other. Being an illustrator has always been my childhood dream ever since I watched my first cartoon and anime. I just wanted to draw these cool characters. Which has now developed into punk teen kind of drawings.
What kind of materials do you use?
I try to test different materials out such as watercolor, acrylic, and inks. But I mainly work on Photoshop, painting digitally.
Where do you get your inspirations from?
I get from my inspirations from cartoons, anime, and music. I think I take my inspiration from everything I see visually and what I find is really cool and makes me excited.
How/where did I learn to draw?
In high school I took a dual credit class at Humber College and George brown College where I was taught the basics of how to draw. I found this very useful and prepared me for when I went to Seneca College for Illustration.
How often do I draw?
I draw as often as I can and try to sketch where ever and whenever. It also depends on how hungry I am.
How long does an art piece take?
An art piece varies from medium to medium but I would say 6-15 hours working on individual pieces.
I mainly use Photoshop for any digital painting, sketchbook pro for sketching digitally but I mainly sketch on a classic pencil and paper. For logo designs I work on illustrator for a vector graphic. Other software I use is paint tool sai.
Sorry I do not work for free.
